|a Sir Terry Farrell CBE is an award-winning international architect and town planner and was one of the pioneers of the postmodern style. One of the five architects featured in the BBC series The Brits who Built the Modern World (February 2014), his notable UK buildings include Vauxhall Cross (the MI6 building), Charing Cross (Embankment Place) and the Home Office in London. He was awarded a CBE in 1996 and a knighthood in 2001.
