Sumario:"We shall assume that the reader is familiar with the elementary concepts and theorems in Banach spaces and in Hilbert spaces. The definitions and theorems throughout this paper fall into two categories. First, we have theorems which apply to perfectly general (and sometimes only reflexive) Banach spaces, hence equally well to unitary spaces. These we prefer to formulate in the most general form. They form the content of the first four chapters and of both appendices. The other type is formulated only for unitary spaces."--Page 16, Notations and conventions.
