The European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) introduced legally binding requirements for central counterparties (CCPs) located in the Netherlands. The Dutch authorities have also adopted the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI)-International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) Principles for Financial Market Infrastructures (PFMI) in their oversight and supervision of central securities depositories (CSDs)/securities settlement systems (SSSs) and systemically important payment systems. |
