Sumario:In an unprecedented decision, the Supreme Court of Nicaragua has determined that 18 sex workers act as judicial mediators to facilitate the resolution of conflicts in their profession. It is a small victory in a country with more than 14,000 women engaged in sex work, and are exposed to all kinds of harassment and violation of rights. This documentary looks at the work of the Girasoles de Nicaragua association to defend the rights and regulation of autonomous sex work.
