Sumario:"One of the most atmospherically eerie works of American horror cinema, Carnival of souls is a B-movie cult classic that continues to inspire directors today. Herk Harvey's macabre masterpiece is the story of a young woman who goes along for the ride when some small-town Kansas hot-rodders hold a drag race and are forced off a bridge, plunging into the flooded river below. The sole survivor of the accident, Mary Henry (Candace Hilligoss), accepts a job as a church organist in Salt Lake City -- where she is repeatedly troubled by a bizarre apparition that beckons her to an abandoned lakeside pavilion. Made by industrial filmmakers on a modest budget, the film was intended to have the "look of a Bergman" and "feel of a Cocteau", and succeeds with its strikingly used locations and spooky organ score."--Snagfilms.com.
