The book investigates the origins of many landscape features, including New Zealand's volcanoes and mountains, rivers and fluvial landscapes, glacial fjords and glacial history, karst and caves, and landform evolution at the mobile land-sea interface. New Zealand Landscape concludes with a review of the suite of geophysical hazards that occur in New Zealand and confront people living in the landscape.
