Notas: | One-legged balance. To improve balance, stand on a flat surface on one leg with the opposite leg bent. With hands on hips, balance is maintained for 30 to 60 seconds and repeat. The exercise is performed two or three times for 30 to 60 seconds, once or twice a day. Progress is made until the patient stands up on a pillow, sofa cushion, or the exercise is performed with eyes closed to make it more challenging.
