Notas:Calf stretch. To perform this exercise, the patient stands facing a wall while resting the ball of the foot against the wall. Keeping the leg and knee straight, slowly move the body toward the wall until a stretch is felt. Holds for 60 seconds. This exercise can be performed with the knee bent to stretch different muscle groups in the calf. The goal of this exercise is to increase the flexibility of the calves. Three sets of 60 seconds are recommended, two or three times a day.
