Based on user input values for the duration of each component of the SBR cycle along with the wastewater flow and characteristics values, the spreadsheet calculates the required dimensions for either rectangular or circular tanks and it uses biological kinetics equations and mass balances to check on the adequacy of the design for nitrification and for denitrification. Aeration requirements are also calculated. | |
