Sumario:This Excel workbook streamlines normally time-consuming incompressible pipe flow calculations by automating the iterative calculation of the friction factor and the iterative processes needed to calculate either flow rate or required diameter. The worksheets are useable for either turbulent or laminar flow and include minor losses in the calculations. It includes worksheets to calculate: 1. Density and viscosity at a user specified temperature for more than 70 liquids 2. The sum of the minor loss coefficients 3. Frictional pressure drop 4. Flow rate 5. Minimum required diameter. The workbook is useable with either the Fanning Friction Factor or the Moody Friction Factor.
