The book offers original data on explosion dynamics, as well as emerging methods for personnel, vehicle, and infrastructure protection, including new types of body armor and penetration-resistant composites, fibers, and metal alloys. Advances are discussed regarding supercavitating vehicles, electromagnetic launchers, additive manufacturing of energetic materials, and jet penetration. Papers in this text were presented at a symposium organized by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) with the International Ballistics Society (IBS). The CD-ROM displays figures and illustrations in articles in full color along with a title screen and main menu screen.
