Sumario:"The main theme of the book is development of a regional response to transnational crimes that remains a domestic concern regarding public policy. International institutions have developed best practices, some minimum assistance regarding drug trafficking, human trafficking, money laundering, weapons trafficking, and terrorism. However, these threats to the global community remain a problem for nation-states to combat on a domestic level. The book outlines the threat globally, regionally within the Americas, notes some developments institutionally, and suggestions for a regional response with the Western Hemisphere as a model for other regions. The ideas expressed regarding sustainability and a regional criminal court to counter transnational crimes is innovative, in light of the current literature, no one is currently suggesting these ideas in the contemporary literature"--
