- "More than ever, practices and discourses of citizenship are at the heart of current political debates in Canada and abroad. The politics of citizenship transforms and is being transformed by social forces and dynamics such as neoliberalism, increase inequalities, LGBTQ+ movements, the rise of populism, nationalist movements in multinational societies, including Indigenous self-determination claims. "Citizenship as a Regime: Canadian and Internal Perspectives" brings together innovative contributions from Canada and Europe, to explore such topics. The volume shows the usefulness of the concept of citizenship regime for understanding contemporary policies and politics, as well as for analyzing their dynamics in multiple contexts.
