Sumario:The edition of the Arabic text by Qušairis (d. 465/1072) collection of responses' Uyun al-aǧwiba fi funun al-as'ila on Sufism was published in 2012 as Volume 9 of the Arabic Studies. This is followed by the German translation of the Sufi text containing 131 questions and answers, with an introduction and a detailed commentary in the form of footnotes and indices. The introduction introduces, among other things, the poets cited anonymously by the author, insofar as they could be identified. This shows that the verifiable profane poets are represented more numerous than the mystical ones. This throws a spotlight on the special scholarship of the famous theologian and mystic, which is committed to the ideal of courtly education (ẓarf). In the comments on the individual text sections, evidence of the poem quotations is provided as well as contextualizations that include information on variants and additions. In addition to the poets 'diwanes and the Sufi manual literature, the main sources from which the parallels were drawn are the great commentary on the Qur'an Qušairi's Lata'if al-išarat as well as the extensive manuscript transcript of his son Abu Nasr' Abdarrahim, K. aš-Šawahid. Both works of the Qušairiya offer rich material that is suitable for authoritatively explaining the sometimes dark text of the collection of responses
