| Sumario: | In the series "Classification and Categorization in Ancient Egypt" some works have already been published that describe the system of classification in Egyptian. For the cases of classifiers on nouns (noun classifiers) that cannot be grasped with previous approaches, conceivable solutions are proposed here that can be seamlessly connected to the previous results.Verb classifiers have received little attention in research so far.Based on the classifiers of verbs (and adjectives) documented in the pyramid texts, the use of verb classifiers in ancient Egyptian is examined and described.In addition, developed a model for the analysis of multiple classification, which highlights different reference levels of classifiers on a word or a phrase.This enables for the first time a systematic description of classifiers, the selection of which was previously considered context-dependent or left to the discretion of the writer t. |
