Sumario:"This book is meant to provide the first comprehensive source on the current state of knowledge related to the conceptualization, assessment, and promotion of treatment integrity across psychology, education, and related fields. In short, the chapters in this book present a broad, multielement view of treatment integrity to specify what is known and what is not yet known about the implementation of evidence-based interventions. For example, the reader will note that some findings have been consistent across studies and fields (e.g., higher levels of treatment integrity result in improved outcomes), whereas other findings have not (e.g., self-report of treatment integrity has been found to be acceptable by some researchers and unreliable by others). Similarly, the chapters in this book present diverse definitions of treatment integrity. This variation in definitions reflects the emerging, evolving, and complex nature of this area of inquiry and further underscores the need for a comprehensive resource on the topic"--Introduction.
