Descripción
Sumario:Identifying the period under examination as an unusual time during which China, Japan, and the United States all had positive relations with each other, Vogel, Ming, and Akihiko present nine essays that examine the triangle of international relations from a triangle of national viewpoints. After three examinations of the domestic politics of each country, each penned by a scholar from the country under examination, the respective bilateral relations between the countries are explored. Each of the three sections on bilateral relations contains two articles offering one perspective each from the countries under examination.
