Dr. Ilie received the President's Award for Teaching Excellence in 2016 and the Provost Award for Mentoring in Scholarly and Creative Activity in 2013. She is also the author of Electromagnetism: Problems and Solutions. Zachariah S. Schrecengost is a State University of New York alumni. He finished his BS with a double major in physics and computer science and minor in mathematics. He took the advanced electromagnetic theory course with Dr. Ilie. He is also a co-author of Electromagnetism: Problems and Solutions.
