He received his PhD and MS degrees from Clemson University, and a BS degree in physics from the Rochester Institute of Technology. In the early 1990s he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing. At Mercer he teaches a wide range of physics classes including several specialized classes in observational astronomy, acoustical foundations of music and ancient Chinese science. | ||
