He has conducted research in experimental particle physics at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, (CERN) and at the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK). As a member of international collaborations Belle and Belle II, he has also done research at KEKB and at SuperKEKB collider. He is also a co-editor of The Physics of the B Factories.
