545 |a Jose Roberto Cardoso has been a Professor with the Energy and Electrical Automation Department, Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo since 1999. His research interests include numerical methods for electromagnetics, theoretical electromagnetics, electrical machines, electromechanical biomedical application, electrical railway research and engineering education. Mauricio B.C. Salles has been an Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic School of the University of Sao Paulo since 2010. His main interests are on distributed generation, power system dynamics, control and stability, renewable energy, energy storage and electricity markets. Mauricio Caldora Costa has been Director at Electromagnetics Technology since 2008, where he works on consulting projects involving electromagnetic field simulation. His main interests are finite element and other numerical methods, electromagnetic devices simulation and optimization, software development and power systems.
