It is a conjunction of knowledge from very, diverse disciplines to understand the body and to know its very varied ways of being, expressing and representing. Closely connected with each other, all have been approached from a central question that gave guideline and has been the common thread: what is the body? Throughout this work it is established that the body is a construction so it is considered, in relation to the subject, the experience and the culture, which endows the body with the object of study. The cognoscent subject and the known object are merged - the body thinks itself, since the gesture is what is open to the look, the anthropological gaze -, the gesture is analyzed that is the most basic of the mechanisms a Through which the world is apprehended, within which the processes of perception are engendered. Long before the word, man becomes aware of himself and his environment thanks to the body, capable of learning by gestural mimesis both the environment and the expression. In addition, since bodies and their gestures are always in situation, it is necessary to make a map of the body that allows reading from their different ways of being. | ||
