| Sumario: | "Intelligent transportation systems (ITS) are advanced applications which use a variety of technologies to provide innovative services relating to different modes of transport and traffic management, enabling safer, more coordinated and 'smarter' use of transport networks. This book presents papers from the 4th International Conference on Information Technology and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITITS 2019), held in Xi'an, China, on 7-8 December 2019. The conference provided a platform for professionals and researchers from industry and academia to present and discuss recent advances in the field of information technology and intelligent transportation systems. Intelligent transport systems can vary from basic management systems to more complex application systems, and information technology plays a big part, as does wireless communication. ITITS 2019 received more than 128 submissions for presentation, of which 23 papers were finally accepted; 14 oral presentations and 9 poster presentations. Topics covered include computational technologies, floating car data/floating cellular data, sensing technologies, and video vehicle detection; and related theoretic and applied technologies include emergency vehicle notification systems, automatic road enforcement, collision avoidance systems and some cooperative systems.
