One problem which is the focus of this book is the continual pockets of poverty that exist in countries around the world. In this regard, welfare reform has been slow in coming as nations struggle for allocating limited resources for meeting the needs of all citizens within its boundaries. This book describes a welfare model that is quite innovative, imaginative, but also practical. It can be readily implemented in any country in the world, although the example used in this book is that of one country.
