520 |a "This research proposes an innovative design approach supported with literature reviews and a cultural probe pilot test. This approach will be an augmentative factor for social innovation towards a new human-machine civilization in a new nature. Since natural and artificial similarities are growing every day, we should consider which characteristics of these artificial products have human traits already associated with them, to understand what makes these products partly human. Part 1 and 2 illustrate the theoretical framework underlying the whole work which is formed by four main elements: (1) temporal and spatial realities regarding design; (2) near future design technologies and products; (3) human-machine hybridity; and (4) new human and humanity. Part 3 describes the cultural probe test that was developed. Part 4 presents the manifesto and the new design approach as well as an Epilogue section where a brief conclusion is presented. As a final point, in the Appendices section, the material related with the culture probe test is presented"--  |c Provided by publisher.
