Moreover, most of the editions were inadequate, full of misreadings and other mistakes, which rendered some passages of the texts almost unintelligible. This new edition brings together half of these funeral orations. It is based on all the manuscripts preserving these texts andincludes an apparatus fontium and a critical apparatus.
