| Sumario: | Papers of the fortieth Algonquian Conference held at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in October 2008. For nearly half a century, the papers of the Algonquian Conference have served as the primary source of peer-reviewed scholarship addressing topics related to the languages and societies of Algonquian peoples.
