Population growth is stabilising and the country is making great strides towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals and middle income status. A perfect developmental "hat trick" of sustained economic growth (8% average), poverty reduction (12% points) and a reduction in income inequality were achieved over the EDPRS 1 period. There were key lessons learned from the EDPRS 1 Self assessment Report from both success and shortcomings that have shaped the EDPRS 2 elaboration"--Abstract
