Sumario: | This book aims to showcase research into translation and translation teaching as they are currently practised in a variety of contexts across the globe. The editors are particularly interested in highlighting how particular concepts of translation ('harmonization', 'thick translation', etc) have evolved or been applied in particular cultural contexts, and how ideas from a variety of disciplines (descriptive translation studies, systemic functional grammar, corpus linguistics, etc) have found new applications in translation studies. The edited volume contains thirteen papers divided into three. |
