Sumario:Volume is indexed by Thomson Reuters CPCI-S (WoS).These are the proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Green Power, Materials and Manufacturing Technology and Applications (GPMMTA2012), held in Kunming (China) on July 17-19th 2012. The conference served as a platform for the exchange of expertise, and drew the attention of researchers from the disciplines of Sustainable Power, Sustainable Materials, Green Manufacturing Technology and Applications, etc. Scientists and engineers, along with company managers explore developments in generating sustainable power. The 181 papers cover materials engineering and applications; mechanical engineering and application; structural and civil engineering; manufacturing technologies and application; control, monitoring, and computer technologies; and mechatronics and applications. Among the topics are controlling factors of hydrocarbon accumulation and optimization of favorable block for both flanks of the Putaohua Reservoir in the southern Daquing placanticline, optimizing control parameters with switching operation mode on hybrid brake systems for electric vehicles, an experimental study of double truss cable supporting system of coal roadways in the isolated coal pillar and fold region, a system for monitoring and controlling transfusions based on wireless communication, a system to monitor stand-along photovoltaic power generation, and video processing based on an artificial fish swarm algorithm.
