The proceedings comprise 288 peer-reviewed papers which should be required reading matter for anyone dealing with these topics. Arranged in two volumes, this collection represents the proceedings of the International Conference on Intelligent System and Applied Material, held in Taiyuan China in January 2012, showcasing current scholarship in a wide variety of subject areas relating to materials science and engineering.
