During the 1990s new statistical guidelines for national accounts and balance of payments statistics were established, and a substantial growth in financial flows between private sector institutions occurred. The concepts set out in the Guide are harmonized with those of the "System of National Accounts 1993" and the fifth edition of the IMF's "Balance of Payments Manual." | ||
