Part Two, (A Human Focus Perspective,) provides new information on delinquency and dropouts, alternative centers for learning, non-curricular changes, immigrant and seasonal farm workers, and current prevention practices. In summary, the lock-step curriculum and the specialist system are primary culprits in forcing a great many students to drop out. The abandonment of these systems together with the adoption of curriculum-based assessment methods and cooperative learning techniques are the recommended solutions. | ||
