Donati Graeci : learning Greek in the Renaissance /

Offers a study of four Greek grammars modelled on a Latin elementary grammar called Ianua of Donatus; they represent a tradition of Greek studies contemporaneous with, and parallel to, the "official" Byzantine-humanist grammar that made the revival of Greek in the West possible.
