Sumario:This collected volume presents papers dealing with the language behaviour of advanced learners of a foreign language. In recent decades, research into second language acquisition has concerned itself principally with the early stages. In contrast to these early stages, the language behaviour of advanced learners is far more difficult to analyse, as this behaviour is determined by a complex of widely differing factors. Using the methods developed by corpus linguistics which have been the subject of much discussion in recent years, it is possible to furnish a precise description of the regularit.
