Guarding the goldfields : the story of the Yukon Field Force /

A history of the Yukon Field Force, an ad hoc unit of the Canadian Militia which only existed for two years, from 1898 to 1900, based on the diary of Edward Lester, an English immigrant who served in the Force as a private soldier. Includes Lester's diary (p.130-206).
