This first volume records the earliest journeys through Tunisia, Egypt, Syria, Arabia, on pilgrimage to the Holy Places of Islam. Among the detailed descriptions of towns on the road and of their inhabitants, he gives a particularly circumstancial account of Medina and Mecca. | ||
