It reveals their interactions with contemporary leaders Chittaranjan Das, Jinnah, Motilal and Jawaharlal Nehru, Vallabhbhai Patel and Mahatma Gandhi-down the years till Partition in 1947, an event which Sarat Bose relentlessly opposed.
