| Sumario: | The thesis focuses on the Palaeolithic settlement on the eastern slopes of the Drahany Highlands (Vyškov and Prostějov regions, central Moravia). The author has drawn on multiple sources: previously published information, lithic collections deposited in museums, results of his own surface surveys, and results of the excavation of the Želeč stratified site. Apart from a catalogue of the sites, the thesis consists of a technological and typological analysis of particular lithic collections and also of a chapter devoted to the analysis of settlement strategies of particular technocomplexes presen. |
