Sumario: | "The objective of this status report is threefold. Firstly, it aims to review the state of the art of this technology by presenting the different ADS concepts proposed worldwide since 2000, as well as the related R & D activities and demonstration initiatives carried out at national and international levels. Secondly, it contributes to establishing an international roadmap up to the full deployment of ADS, in the context of advanced nuclear fuel cycles. Thirdly, it helps to identify and possibly to stimulate important directions of national and international efforts in this area. The IAEA would like to express its appreciation to D.
