La Citadelle : Layle Lane and Social Activism in Twentieth-Century America /

Layle Lane was an educator, social activist, and political leader. She played a major role in the March on Washington Movement. She became an innovative groundbreaker in New York City and Pennsylvania where she enacted social transformations and educational camps for inner city boys.
