Sumario:This book proposes a new approach to the problem of aesthetic experience in Western culture. Noting how art world phenomena evoke conventional psychoanalytic speculations about narcissism, the authors turn the tables and "apply" aesthetic questions and concerns to psychoanalytic theory.
