All of the contributions were peer-reviewed, and it is hoped that the work will serve as a tool for advancing future studies regarding the applied aspects of the synthesis and characterization, processing and application of advanced engineering materials. The 20 selected and peer-reviewed papers consider biomedical applications, and green products for pollution and corrosion reduction. Their topics include monitoring TiOin2 nanotube elaboration conditions in order to identify various characteristics of nanostructures, a new approach to evaluating surface properties of natural temporary teeth from highly polluted areas, spectral investigation into the degree of degradation in Romanian historical leather, the one-step potentiostatic electrodeposition of polypyrrole coatings on zinc coated steel surfaces, and the influence of various binders on the protective properties of paint coatings. The workshop was part of the 16th Romanian International Conference on Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. | ||
