Adversity, Stress, and Psychopathology.
"Adversity" involves exposure to unpropitious or calamitous circumstances and it varies with gender, ethnic or racial background and socioeconomic status. In this volume, investigators review research on the nature of adversity and its relationship to major types of psychopathology.
