The Gospel of John in the Sixteenth Century : the Johannine Exegesis of Wolfgang Musculus.
A study of Johannine exegesis in the 16th century, centered on the John commentary of Wolfgang Musculus, a leader of the Protestant Reformation. It compares Musculus's exegesis of the Johannine miracle stories with that of other 16th-century commentators, and also with medieval commentaries.
