Human Nature, Cultural Diversity, and the French Enlightenment.
This work re-examines several ideas long considered to be central tenets of the Enlightenment. Focusing on various ideas of human diversity, it challenges the prevailing view of the Enlightenment's supposedly rigid conception of human nature.
