Sumario:OS/400 Operations Navigator is the graphical interface to manage your IBM eServer iSeries runtime environment. V5R1 Operations Navigator contains major function and interface enhancements over previous releases. This IBM Redbooks publication explains the Network function capabilities. It is the sixth volume in the "Managing OS/400 with Operations Navigator V5R1" series and further explains the features introduced in Managing OS/400 with Operations Navigator V5R1, Volume 1: Overview and More, SG24-6226. Key Operations Navigator functions that can be associated with the Network management-related capabilities include: - TCP/IP administration and configuration of the different TCP/IP based servers - IP Policies, including here Virtual Private Networking (VPN) and Quality of Service (QoS) - Remote Access Services - Client Access server management - Internet services, including links to HTTP and Digital Certificate Manager (DCM) for SSL support - Windows Administration: common administration interface for Integrated Netfinity servers - Operations Navigator Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) configuration This book describes these functions and provides several examples of their use along with some usage tips, such as configuring VPN, and SSL support for Operations Navigator.
