Seine hegemonietheoretische Analyse zeigt: Der antimuslimische Rassismus übersetzt die Unsicherheit darüber, ob die Emanzipationskämpfe nach 1968 tatsächlich gewonnen wurden, in die Vorstellung, dass Muslim_innen das Errungene bedrohen. In diesem Mythos repräsentieren muslimische Andere eine überwunden geglaubte Vergangenheit. Ihre Abwertung im Namen der Emanzipation entpuppt sich als historizistischer Rassismus. | ||
