There is a chapter dedicated to personalised medicine for hereditary deafness, and another exploring the complexity of genotype-phenotype correlations. Specific diseases such as Fabry's, Gauchers and mitochondrial cytopathies are highlighted and we look at enzyme replacement therapy in lysosomal storage diseases.
