Sumario:This workbook is the otucome of some five years'experience fo teaching Wittgenstein to undergraduates in their final year - a few of them reading philosophy alone, but most reading it in conujunction with another subject. It trats of eighteen topics centrally important in Wittgenstein's thought. For each topic a list of questions is given on the right-hand page, und, on the left, relevant references to the texts and to secondary sources. To combat the impression that Wittgenstein's later philosophy involved the rejection of all or most of the doctrines expounded in the Tractatus, the topics bring together matters discussed in Philosophical Investigations with themes of the earlier work. The other published works of Wittgenstein are also draw upon as ancillary sources, since they often give substantial aid in understanding compressed or particularly difficult passages in the tow main works.
